ThunderShot Studios is a video production agency and soundstage rental facility located in Fairfax, Virginia, serving the Washington, DC metro area. Established in 2000 as a mobile media company providing cinematography, jib, and production support services, it expanded its offices and capabilities over the years and now operates a fully equipped soundstage. The flagship space is a 40' x 60' soundstage featuring a 16' lighting grid height, a 180-degree curved infinity wall, 800 amps of dimmable power, a silent HVAC system, NC-25 rated soundproofing, drive-in access, a pre-hung jib with operator, and a substantial included lighting package, along with support spaces such as a conference room, green room, dressing rooms, and break room. The studio supports commercials, political ads, green screen work, documentaries, corporate and medical video, broadcast television, virtual event production, photography, and multi-camera shoots, and also offers equipment rental, crew support, and set storage. It promotes itself as one of the only woman-owned soundstage production studios in America.
