Athena Studios

Athena Studios is a state-of-the-art sound stage and film studio complex in Athens, Georgia, the first of its kind in that city. The complex spans a roughly 110-acre site (expanded with an additional 65 acres) with around 200,000 square feet of purpose-built TV and film production space, including roughly 82,000 square feet of column-free stage space across four stages, plus extensive office, mill, flex space, and a backlot. Each stage is a soundproofed box with a silent air-conditioning system. In November 2022, Athena dedicated a 14,600-square-foot soundstage and learning center for the exclusive use of the University of Georgia and the Georgia Film Academy.
