Fort Knox Studios is a roughly 125,000-square-foot music rehearsal and creative-industries facility in Chicago's Portage Park neighborhood at 4255 N. Knox Avenue. Opened in 2011 by Dan Mahoney and Kent Nielsen, it offers more than 120 monthly rehearsal and production suites, hourly rehearsal rooms and showcase/stage rooms in a large industrial complex. While primarily known as a music rehearsal and tour-prep hub used by touring artists such as Jennifer Hudson, it also lists soundstage space in Illinois' state soundstage directory and supports content creators and production-related businesses. The facility emphasizes a clean, private and professional creative workspace.
