Eastern Effects is a Brooklyn-based film and television production services company founded in 1999, providing lighting and grip equipment rentals along with soundstage and studio rentals across the New York City metro area and northern New Jersey. It describes itself as the largest mid-market rental house in the NYC metro area, with an inventory of over 75,000 equipment items and four soundstages across campuses in Brooklyn, NY and Kearny, NJ. The company has supported more than 10,000 productions including features, episodic television, commercials, corporate and industrial videos, reality TV, and live broadcasts. It began with a single truck and a 1,000 sq. ft. warehouse and has grown to roughly 163,000 sq. ft. of combined facilities.
