Shadowbox Studios is a premium film and television complex southeast of Atlanta in DeKalb County, which opened in early 2017 as Blackhall Studios (founded by Ryan Millsap) and rebranded to Shadowbox in 2022 following a strategic investment led by Silver Lake. The campus has nine purpose-built soundstages ranging from roughly 19,200 to 40,000 square feet, plus extensive support and office space, an SFX building, and a 30-acre backlot, and includes one stage with a 55-foot ceiling said to be the tallest in the state. It is known for hosting major Hollywood tentpoles for Disney/Marvel, Universal, Sony, and Warner Bros./HBO. Its first production was Godzilla: King of the Monsters, and the platform now spans facilities in Georgia and the United Kingdom.
